LemonBlastPied

zactell Sep 18, 2009 02:23 AM

I posted a few weeks ago pix of what we thougt was a LemonBlastPied.
Everyone said that it was a PinPie.

I will have to agree with that now.

Yesterday the same ballbreeder (MA Reptiles in Sweden) got a really nice clutch...

This time it really is a LemonBlastPiebald.
He got two of them
(PinPied on first pict. along with the LBP)

just my opinion but the pin pied is much nicer, that lemonblast pied is actually the first pied combo that I don't like one bit. I guess it could be a powerful breeder, but as a pet and future animal for the pet trade, I think it does not have much luster.

I have pin and pastel het pieds I have produced the past couple years and really thought that the lemon blast was something I was really going to try to het this season upcoming, and no offense to the poster, but I am dissapointed with the way it looks. But it may look super nice when it is a little bigger and because of how variable pieds are maybe some are prettier than others???

I have to agree that just seems like a wasted piebald to me... as the pied looks much much better than the blasted pie does to me it just kind of fizzels out....

well one thing to think about is that for adult coloration the standard pied will be a dark snake while the lemon blast pied will be very nicely colored

that's TOTALLY awesome! But just when I thought Pieds couldn't get any uglier, this goes and happens...I'm such a Pied hater.
