25 gal WTF tank

bgkast Sep 16, 2003 09:42 PM

I have 1 whites tree frog in a 20 gal long tank. I am setting up a larger tank for her and would like to eventually get a male whites and breed them. I just bought a 25 gal
(24.25" L x12.5" W x20.75" H) to use for the new set up. Will this be a large enough tank for 2 whites? I bought the 25 because it was on sale. Just for comparison a 29 gal tank is 6 inches longer and 2 inches shorter.

Hmm...I really should return this tank and spend the extra $20 on a 37 gal huh.

it might be a little tight. General rule of thumb is 20 gallons for 1 and an additional 10 for each extra tankmate.

Yeah. I am just about to go to the pet store to exchange the 25 gal for a 37 gal. That should be plenty of room for 2.
