River Rock Substrate?

fantasyxbabygurl Sep 18, 2009 11:59 PM

Just curious if theres any downfalls to have river rock as a substrate? obviously the dragon couldnt eat it as long as all peices are large enough. Smell possibly? If i got rather large flat ones i might be able to clean one or just a few at a time, cleaning being the other possibility. Heating up too hot?

My idea is to have a fake-rick platform, i cant find any pictures but what im thinking is a platform somewhat like a two story house. Platform looking like a platuea or something, with ways to get to the top along the sides and the platform raised in the center. Areas to "hide" or more likely walk around the "floor" level since it sill be somewhat open. So i was thinking river rocks on the floor lvl.

Thoughts?

Finally found a picture of what i was thinking of. I'd like to recreate soemthing like this and have the river rocks underneath. Would the dragon spend anytime under there anyways? thanks.
