OK, there has been alot of talk lately about Black Eyed Lucies and the orange splotches and coloring on them. Is it normal, is it an odd occurance, what percentage of Black Eyed Lucies come out clean, what percentage have at least one orange scale. So, if you have a Black Eyed Lucy, can you post a pic of it. Let's see how many have some color to them!

I, personally, like the color because I like the contrast between the white and the orange.

Some people are just jaded. 15 years ago people would`ve killed for a pure white Ball Python. I think they are just awesome. Great looking snake!!

You're right. I remember the first lucy I saw in person at a show. It had a 6 figure price tag and a crowd of people staring at it with drool on their chins. I think the fact that they have become so much more common and affordable has tainted the opinions of a lot of people who got in on the project early only to find out that there are so many morphs that make white snakes.

I personally don't like them. I have never seen one in person though, so maybe that will change my mind. IMO the morphs with colors are much prettier than pure white.
