Love the Florida kings. Tough as nails and have all these traits going on right now. Best species to work with in herpetoculture right now.

Personally I can't think of anything with a calm demeanor and hardiness except cornsnakes. Just the Florida kingsnakes are way cooler.

I know the hognose and scaless corns are coming more popular. But I can't keep cornakes in my state. Plus I have done that been there. The scaless trait is cool but how many of these scaless will we see in a few years. Nothing really new to corns except that.

then the hognoses are also new . But they don't have the amount of reccessive traits to keep things going long. They sorta remind me of the honduran morph craze. Died off after the snow was done and so were the different traits.

With Florida kings..they will be snowballing in new morphs here in the next several years. Plus I love the size and they make great pets, Not pests. Like some difficult to keep spp.
