wc Eastern Hog

This is one from east of Ocala National Forest on some private timber land. The little one (ca. 16" ) was crossing a logging road when I snagged him - probably on the move to find some more habitat, but none to be found.

Not a good time for me to bag this one though...the southern toads are not out as much in north Florida right now - got to get some to hold me over 'til the spring.

Anyway, what color would you guys call this one? The venter is whitish-gray with some light pepper flecking. I only keep kings now, so he's sharing a room with 15 Eastern & Florida kings!
