I bought a gray back in early august at a reptile expo. She had only eaten once [blue bellies] and just shed when I bought her. It took a little while to get her to initially start to eat mice. It wasn't until I went out and caught a few blue bellies and fed her a really small one that she finally started eating. I then started scenting the pinkies with the blue bellies I had and she started eating them on her own. I've fed her about 4 times since I've had her. She just shed and I thought I should try to feed her again and she's not eating. I tried without scenting the pinky at first and when that didn't work I went to get the frozen blue belly for scenting. She would smell it then turn away. After really scenting it and trying again she would just strike at it and then try to escape. I left her alone in a small Tupperware with the pinky for a few days in hopes she would eat. She hasn't eaten and seems scared of the pinky. Is there something else I can try to get her to start eating again? Or is there a bigger issue at hand here. I know gray's are picky eaters and I'm wondering if there's an easier route then the one I've tried. Thank you!
