What is this............................

JKruse Sep 21, 2009 03:04 AM

.....but those of you that are 100% positive don't get a chance. Allow for the padawans to hone their jedi skills. Even still, I think it's going to be a toughy for many.

Here's a side angle.......

Have fun playing.........and is it just me or did Monday come wayyyyyy too fast?!?

Lampropeltis zonata multfasciata, The scales don't key out as Agalma could be a multfasciata X Agalma

JKruse Sep 21, 2009 02:18 PM

you nailed it........it IS a Coastal zonata (multifasciata) from Santa Cruz county. And no, there's no agalma influence whatsoever. This specific population does throw some aberrant specimens, such as this one with a high-white head. I'm hoping they will make some babies like this next year as well.

Those look like Mr. Allen Barlett had his hands on them.

zonatahunt Sep 22, 2009 03:13 AM

Sorry, but Mr. Bartlett had nothing to do with these. These are hatchlings from my lines...and anyways, I don't think Allan works with coast animals.

joecop Sep 22, 2009 09:43 AM

Oooops. Good job with them. They are smoking.

Joe_Acosta Sep 22, 2009 04:29 PM

Mr. Mulks those have to be some of the sweetest Coastal Z's I have ever seen. I consider you very lucky doing the work and research that you do. Sorry to have ruined it for everyone but I was just playing the game you know!
