Posted some pics of this guy in the Indigo forum awhile back and thought he might be more appreciated in here! LOL. Anyways, 7'plus and his attitude isn't too bad! Eats like a machine on anything offered.

Hey Billy I love these guys and I am sorry I didn't add a comment but I just can't bring myself to pick up a WC quite yet. I am looking high and low for CB animals and the less I look at the available WC animals and the success some guys like you are having the less tempted I am in getting one via that route.

That said he is pretty sweet looking, love the puffing and the crazy markings!! Makes him look a little evil which I love about these guys!! These and the golden white lips seem to be able to make even snake guys squirm a little with their posturing. Makes folks a little nervous!! HAHAHA

Good luck with this guy and keep us posted on how he acclimates. This is another guyana locality animals right??

Not sure of the locality....brought in by Bushmaster. Funny you mention White Lippeds, I have 1.2 and they're pretty docile....jumpy like a Colubrid but have never attempted to bite at all. I hear what you say about cb but you can't get cb w/out someone stepping up and working w/imports first.

My entire collection seems to gravitate towards onery, irascible species...Spilotes, Gonyosomas, Janseni, Bar Neck Scrubs, Emeralds, and all the different ssp. of Mangroves. Guess I should add some Beauty Snakes to round things out?? LOL!

I'm surprised your screen name isn't Billybadass lol.

Possibly.."Sir Noosealot"..? The big boy took an adult mouse and a chick. He is soo secretive. Had to rattle him a bit to take the mouse but he took the chick left in the opening to the hide on his own later.

I'm telling you those WC Pseustes like their privacy. You also know how stoked I am when they eat without getting worked up. You know I'm looking out for a female for the "little guy" to repay that "noosealot" moniker.

PM sent regarding the mangrove....

Reiterate the "little guy" comment

Pic was from a month or so ago, the female may be growing more right now, her head is just about as big as the males.

Those are Great looking animals. Do you plan on breeding them?

flboy21283 Sep 24, 2009 09:41 PM

you GOTTA carry some beauty snakes. Everyone needs a beauty snake in my opinion.

as long as it's nice colored cave rats I could see those in Bills collection...

You're right Nate, Dwellers would be the only ssp. I'd do. W/the arrival of the 1.1 Boiga D. Melanota next week I'm completely out of space! I'm considering "grouping" my juvie Gemmicintas together...all are young, have fed only on rodents, and I already have 1.1 together w/no ill effects. I'd end up w/1.3 in the same cage. I also plan to cycle 1.2 Emeralds together so that will free up some cage space too.
