Looks Like Another One Bites the Dust

livinginvestment Sep 22, 2009 08:47 PM

I am beside myself and really give up on trying to figure this out. I have a 09 Jungle (Super) my most valuable and pampered of the lot. Housed seperately from the rest. Doing great for 2 months and today when attempting to feed, he displayed no interest. Upon examination, he appeared sluggish and moved differently. He had a solid black fecal removed 2 days ago. It seems to be trying to pass another one with his tail raised but nothing comes out. The body posturing seems different (zip zag ish like) much like a baby I lost last year acted just before it died. I up'd the temps and will wait. Pretty much here it cry..lol. I will not be replacing anymore Boas.

Thanks,

What did the Necropsy and Pathology report tell you about the one you lost last year ?

I never did a necropsy on the baby, only on a GTP that recently passed.

My little guy passed last night shortly after posting. All the same signs as the other baby. Trying to purge then flailing and siezing just before dying. It was horrible to watch.

I will submit the body to the vet tomorrow for the necropsy.

I have had private chats and I am certain I know where the problem lies. The necropsy should support these assumptions.

Thanks,

Kenny
