Western Hognose Pick-ups...

PacHerp Sep 22, 2009 10:11 PM

A few new additions to the collection from the NARBC Anaheim show several weeks ago. I'll post a few pics of my yearling groups and adults a bit later. All images are taken with partial daylight lighting in the evening, I find this to be the best time of the day to take images and display your animals true colors the best... give it a try!

Thanks for the warm welcome to the Hognose forums, Gregg!

Enjoy the pics, everyone.

Male Albino

Female Albino

I really like this little girl, her pattern is pretty broken up with full bands, half bands, and splotches... I can't wait to see her at 200 grams!

I know this isn't a western, but I'm really enjoying this tri-color, too.

The green hognose are fun to work with... I've got a yearling female that is showing some nice green colors. This project has a long way to go, though. I'm hoping to cross some 'hypo' genes into the greens in the future.

Great pick-ups!

Too bad I missed the Anaheim NARBC this year, we try to make it down every year but it just wasn't in me to fly down this year. Perhaps next year...

Great photos, thanks for sharing!
