WC post shed pic

here is a pick of my wc "unique/anery" corn that i got about a month back this little girl is hard to photo she moves fast to get away and her color is hard to capture specialty with a flash but this pick gives you an idea of the unique copper hue that she expresses in all her saddles, she has a very clear belly with the classic black checkering but there is verry little black flecking that i see in most anery corns.

let me know what you think

That looks like a Jungle Corn (Corn Snake x California King hybrid).

I've gotten that before, but it's wc out of Florida so I doubt it is.

While it's certainly true that "jungle corns" can have an extreme variability, and also depending strongly on the percentage of other genetic influence they would contain,....I don't see any hint at all of that animal exhibiting any Cal. king characteristics, or any other influence other than cornsnake.

Nice find!

Unfortunately "wild caught" doesn't really mean anything. Here is a wild caught Ornate Box Turtle found in a National Park in June of this year. I also have a Three-toed Box Turtle caught in the same National Park circa 1983. The only problem is that the park is in northeastern Ohio and neither type of box turtle are native to Ohio.

I've stood by the fact that shes not an anery from the start but I also don't feel that she is a normal I just hope that what ever it is it's genetic.

sorry but you are the one that called it a "unique/anery"
so, I don't realy see anything it that statement that would lead me to believe anything other then the fact that you did indeed think it is anery.
I still say normal, I've seen several pictures of Florida wild caughts that look the same. Some of those pictures on this forum.
sorry if that's not what you want to read, just my take on it.

no worries, i got her as a fun project. ive had a few people say she was anery just because she has no visible red in her i dont think shes anery just because she shows more color than any anerys ive ever worked with. if shes a normal im ok with it i just hope i can wind up with some babys that look like her down the line no matter what she is im glad i have her.
