2009 Super Stripes ......DUW

conleyherps Sep 23, 2009 09:03 AM

Well, just over 2 months old now and they're just starting to color-up. Some of these will be smokin adults, and will hopefully make some killer crosses for us.

The only thing we saw different this year was the 99.9% Striped female, otherwise we've seen all the looks before. Not bad results though.

I have to say that I'm very pleased with this mutation's strength, and maybe most importantly their ability to reproduce. These guys/gals were produced from breeding a 2006 Super Stripe male to one of our original Non-Striped Het Super Stripe females.

I can't wait to breed Super Stripe to Super Stripe! We'll try that in 2010/2011 season.

Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think of them.

Anthony, I've been watching this project since 06' I think and I've gotta say they just get better and better. The striping is killer, but it's the color that i'm noticing more and more now. The color just seems "whacked". Can't wait to see what the Super X Super does.

Best of luck with the project!

I saw them at the Tinley Park show and was really impressed. They were clearly not a typical striped boa. They remind me a little of the striated boa. There heavy striping will look great as an albino. After viewing this series of photos I think they would look great as an anerythristic.

Thanks for sharing!
