frozen reodent help asap please

TimS Sep 23, 2009 01:29 PM

well I normally order rats from big cheese and have been quite happy but I put in a order a few days ago and just got back a reply that there power went out and lost most/all of their rats. Anybody have any frozen rat dealers they personally like dealing with???

I got lots of hungry snakes here so any replies would be great

I've been using rodentpro.com and have been very happy. If you put in an order today, you won't get them for two weeks, though.

wow two weeks ugh. i guess if worse comes to worse i may have to break down and just go for it. still beats paying pet store prices lol

I think that they take orders all week long and will ship your product out the Monday or Tuesday after you place an order

I use Big Cheese as well and ran into the exact same problem two days ago. Not only do they not have anything larger than a small rat, but he told me they were 2000 in the hole on medium rat orders.

I ended up placing an order with The Mouse Factory and got my order through Greyhound last night. They were a bit pricier, but the quality and customer service are second to none. The rats were all vacuum packed with meat trays and NOT ONE of them had aspen or feces on them. Not even the fuzzies! I was so impressed with my order I may go with them from now on regardless of the price difference.

Good luck with whoever you choose!

thanks i love vacume sealed clean animals lol thats why i ended up using big cheese but i may give mouse direct a shot, gotta check out them and rodent pro

After trying TMF, most have the exact same sentiment. For the small price difference, the quality is ABSOLUTELY worth it. They also happen to feed one of the better diets in the entire industry. Especially when you're feeding animals that cost $$$$. Why skimp? It doesn't make sense!

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously

...cleanliness and customer service of The Mouse Factory.

varanid Sep 23, 2009 08:55 PM

I love the mouse factory. Sadly, they don't have real jumbo rats and they don't sell rabbits. I may wind up getting my mice through them again though, I've been sort of "meh" with rodent pro lately...although they're still the best place I know for rabbits.

I still need to go through and wave all options, compare rates, weights, etc but your input has helped alot. Now i have a small list of a few suppliers with good reps behind them. thanks again every1

I usually go to American Rodent Supply they are reasonably priced shipping included for most mid west states and a minimal charge for outside of the area, good condition rats, not all bloody and no bedding or feces in the nicely packed bags All good things

What is "meh"
Someone said they were "meh" with rodent pro is this a miss spelling or WHAT can someone translate to English please. I'm not so good with the SOL's and WTF's

worth of rats. Another order will be here today. I have had a pretty long run of bad luck but I had a great season last year and after this feeding and a couple weeks to empty out they will be pairing again. I expect a stellar year. Maybe some Paradigm and Sharp Mots and het Patternless.
