This girl really jumped out at me when she hatched 3 years ago and I'm glad I kept her after seeing her age and color up.

i realize that's not a wild-caught, but it IS a wild-type and not a morph. How can anyone not appreciate that beauty? Congrats!

Thanks Terry. That is an older sibling to the one in my top display in Daytona that we were talking about.

interesting. I wouldn't have guessed that. did any others have that golden-yellow ground color?

She actually shows a good bit of yellow on the lower sides that you can't see from this view. Many from the same parents show more much more yellow than her as opposed to darker red as they age. Here is the father. You can see where the yellow comes from.

See, to me, that is what it is all about. CONTRAST!!!

I prefer the ones that have a lighter background than the blotches, such as this perfect example you have shown here.
