Trapelus Savignii

BDlvr Sep 24, 2009 02:27 PM

A few weeks ago I took in 2 unknown species of lizard. With help here, I identified them as Trapelus Savignii. They were blue from blue sand dust at their old home. One has now shed and they are very pretty. Here's a before and after.

The worst part about the blue dust was that it hid a very bad infestation of the smallest mite/tick I've ever seen. They are so small it's very hard to tell if the treatment is actually working or not.

Boy it is a cute little thing! Is it friendly? Hope the mite/tick infestation goes away soon. I cant imagine that is fun.
