hello everyone. i just wanted to set a post asking how many of you out there have come across a pet store that takes poor care of their reptiles. this past monday and tuesday i decided to visit a couple of pet stores. one in san dimas ca, and the other in hunington beach ca. both stores had severely bad infestations of mites. the one in san dimas was the worst. not only were their ball pythons completely covered in mites but they were also having extremely bad sheds and about half of them were quite dehydrated. why is it that people allow these great animals get so ill and malnurished. i had a quite a problem with what i saw and made complaints to both store managements. hopefully they will treat their animals and maintain them under better condition. if any of you out there can no longer keep your reptiles, please look for a very good home for them. i myself will be more than happy to either temporarly or permanently take care of and house snakes that any of you may not longer be able to take care of. due to the amount of space that i have i may only accept small animals right now. but i will soon be fully insulating and preparing my garage for more spacing and housing. thank you all for listening.
