LTT from today

I was out getting a paper today at 7-11 and hit a small spot one mile from home. I flipped three rocks and found a 10" garter snake and this----------

Thanks guys. Yeah, that made my day. She did not even bite me when I tried to pop her! She is about 14-16 inches long. Cannot wait to get some boards over there and see what turns up!

Yeah, judging by what you found there in a few seconds, laying some board cover would likely be VERY productive there.

Well, I could only wish that my last years hatchlings acted like this one out of the egg. I just gave her a frozen thawed UNSCENTED peach fuzzy and she ate it. Not many wild caught sub-adults I have seen will do that right off the bat!
