In all the research I've done, I have yet to discover the average lifespan if an african dwarf frog! Can anybody please advise?!

Many thanks,
KHobbs

These frogs have the potential to live up to 10 years with proper care. Sadly, the AVERAGE lifespan of frogs sold is probably in the order of a few weeks:
- poor initial condition
- whong (dried) food
- escape and die
- get picked on by fish
- poor water quality
- etc

I hope my other frog will last a long time yet! Had already passed the two to three week stage with Mr Toad who I just lost... Had them both about three months before Mr Toad became ill with the bloating thing...

My other frog has become quite an active little fellow since he became the sole frog of the tank. The fish dont bother him and he doesnt bother them, a happy medium! I have read comments by people saying that frogs do better in a species tank, but he's doing better than he ever did with just other frogs for company!! I guess Ive just been lucky with him!
