Inferno Pastel Progression Pics...

boahandler Sep 28, 2009 11:49 PM

Hey all, here is my only holdback pair of Inferno pastels that I produced earlier this year. I held them back for their blocky saddles with the holes punched in them. They are turning out way better than I expected. They are turning out so well I wish I held another pair back. I just hope the parents can produce another amazing litter. Thanks for looking...All comments are welcome.

All pics were taken with the same camara, cannon point & shoot 870.

The female:

Second shed

Pics of her Today 9/28/09. She has great color, very nice contrast and a nice deep red tail.

The Male:

Second shed

Pics of him Today 9/28/09. This lil guy amazes me everytime I look at him. His colors are so crisp and bright, he almost looks jungle-ish in person.

Sweet , I was gonna say they both look Junglish !!

No doubt a great pair and a great line of Pastel Boas.

Tony really put that Inferno project together well !!

I hope your breeding pair produces again soon!

Lar, thanks for the kind words. Your right, all this would not have been possible without Tony's successful breeding project back in '01 with that clean wild caught male.

the color and pattern are amazing on those snakes. i cant wait to see them later on in life as they progress. I love seeing pics from baby on up its such a neat thing to see the progression of the animal

It's amazing how they look when they start to lose those baby greys, huh?

They look good as newborns but waiting for their every shed to see those colors to come through seems like an eternity. Thanks

Killer animal. From the second shed pastels really start to glow.

Thanks all, although this is my first litter I have bought and traded a good amount of pastels till I found what I thougt was a true pastel pair. Didn't cross my mind this pairing would produce babies like these. Hope everyone that recieved one is happy with theirs.

they look amazing! You'd think they were hypos except for the black rings around the tail. Great holdback choices and thanks for sharing. Only thing better would be if there were here at my house. lol
