Cage size for adult...

derekdehaas Sep 29, 2009 02:27 PM

Yep very common question
I was shooting for 24x24x12 or 36x24x12 cage but keep in mind these two sizes are 4 square foot but only one is just longer and other is square. My question is which one would you shoot for? Thanks.

I would go with the 36x24x12 enclosure. That is the size of my enclosure in which i keep my adult male BRB

actually one cage is 4 square feet of floor space, the other is 6 square feet. I would go with the larger at least, though I think a bigger cage would benefit large Brazilian rainbow boas. Something like 3'x3' of floor space or 2'x4' but that's just me.

Thanks guys and i'll go for larger one from Ed of pro line cages. My new adult female is not here yet anyway so for now she will go in a 74 qt sterlite.
