question for mr colling

brick1 Sep 30, 2009 11:54 PM

"Early October I start dropping my daytime temps over a few week span from 82 to 75"

thats from your website, just wondering when you say you drop all the way down to 75, is that for the hotspot? you write that you continue feeding, do you find any problems if your max cage temp is 75, with the digestion of any meals taken?

cheers

I'm just Dave!!

Yes, that is the whole cage temp drop and they do continue to eat and digest just fine. In all fairness, they likely do find it a bit warmer up near the RHP as the temp sensor is near the floor level.

im dave, your dave. But your a lot older than me, so i can call you Mr

would you say your drop in temps equates to approx 5degrees then?
And is just for night time, or 24hrs. Ie do you adjust your night time drop in the same way.

On the temp topic, does anyone know what the lowest temps are, at which brbs can still safely digest their food?

Cheers

My dad was "Mr. Colling"

My temp drop is from 82 w/2 degree night drop to 75 w/5. But my room is warm so not likely to get that cool.
