age for breeing jackson's

i have a 6 month old female jacksons and a 4 month male and i have finally decided that i am gonna breed them but i want to wait for the female to be ready and not have any problems with the process so when is the best age to breed them and also when is the best season. for those of you that have breed jacksons how long are they gravid for?(i know that they give live birth)
