Here's a new addition I just received yesterday from Mark Hardie. A Todd co. Kentucky black king female. Couldn't resist with Orchid and Patton posting pics of their nigra. This female has lost most of her dorsal banding, so she's well on her way to developing into a solid black nigra. Thanks to those that steered me in the right direction. Steve

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, those from the Todd County area have NO geneflow from any other subspecies, and that one should get very glossy black and really look great as it matures. Like you said, it looks to be well on it's way to being an excellent example of nigra!
