a bubble breathing brb help!

my friend has a brb blowing bubbles 'upper respiratory problem' what would the cause be?

Sounds like a URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) IMO needs to be seen by a vet to get proper meds. Also, check temps and should be towards the higher end of the range. Like 83 degrees and only a little drop for "cool" end. The warmer temps will help but likely NOT cure the problem.

Most common cause is improper care. Specifically too cold for too long a period of time. Beyond that I'm unsure.

also besides the temps dave mentioned too dry of an environment can also lead to RI in brb's. I would think the temps had to be low for quite a period of time because I have noticed brb's and dumeril boas prefer cooler temps by nature.
