... here are my favorite wc from two locales.

Boy Scout Road Female

River Road (Closed Canyon) Female

This is a poor photo of this snake, but will have to do until I can get a proper set-up.

Both those are nice. Much better than the typical ones you see from those localities. Havn't seen too many boy scout roads with that much good color. Love cruising that road but its so darn far from anywhere else and you have to turn around every 2 and half miles which gets a little monotonous sometimes. Seems like I've always "observed" either a lep or a pic everytime I've been there but never have seen an alterna. Congrats on both wc alternas. thanks for sharing the photos. BA

Yeah, I'm pretty fond of that road also. Here's a few of the snakes that can be seen out there...

He might not have been your favorite, if you never found your lost wallet that night, lol.

Very nice snakes. Your right about BS road Brad. It is a long way out there and a very short stretch of road. The only snake we found was a DOR central texas whipsnake. I was a little disappointed with the road. Of course I would probably be saying I love that road if we had found an alterna on it.

This is my favorite alterna, since it is my only alterna. It was sold to me at a reptile show in Portland, OR, as a Loma Alta, but I have no documentation to prove it. Would it be better if I refer to her as a generic?

I have always wanted to get into alternas, so I think she is beautiful.

Looking forward to the package later this week, Robert.
