Hi guys, Im new here on the forums but not on reptiles, I would like to know if, besides rhinos and the Cyclura nubila complex (blues, cubans, caymans, etc) species and subspecies, are there anymore Cyclura species bred privatly on the US? Are there anymore species that may be established on our hobby?

There are small groups of C. c. figgensi and ricordi held mostly by AZA Zoo's who by their own admission have no room or desire to breed yet will NOT or can NOT give them to the private sector to breed. In the private sector mostly Rhino's, Cuban's, a few Two Sister's Iguanas, and POSSIBLY lewisi and lewisi crosses are available..Here's a pic of a figgensi...

J.Schmidt from Austria bred Figginsi actually. Check cyclura.eu . Very good news!!

Yes I know. That's great but if we tried to import them it's highly likely the permit would be denied on this end as are the Fiji Iguanas...

for Fiji Iguanas the prices in Europe are falling, so at the end of the day everybody in Europe will have some

Oh ok, I live in europe but though more intersting stuff may be going on in the states. Will mail Cyclura.com to check if he knows more privates in Europe with thouse igs. And yes its a shame you guys cant import them, after all, being cb means they are cites 2 wich means they can enter trade!
