still waiting on a few animals to come in and working on getting a few feeding regularly. two pairs left and my buying season is done. Aubrey, take your time!
I recently traded a few animals I had for some other animals, I did get some new breeders so I will have some new looks for next year, and the orange girls will have a go in 2011.

Trying to move out 4 extra males to make room and stay below my personal quota of 50. I have 9 more to show up here yet.
1.2 2009 Black Mex Mex
1.1 2009 Reduced Black Thayeri
1.0 Adult Melanistic Thayeri
1.1 Adult Speckled Mex Mex

Building some 6 snake Applegate style enclosures. One is almost complete...I need to build two more and build or purchase a breeder rack as well....I dislike breeder racks but I'm running out of room finally....LOL Also...I need something to hold all my young snakes when they get bigger....I'm set for a hatchling rack so that's good......

I am going to start building my hibernation chamber this weekend.
Other than that I've been feeding and cleaning just like old times.
My Greeri and Pyros are starting to refuse meals...I guess they can tell Fall is here...

Hey John. I put off buying a rack system forever until just two weeks ago. I bought a 7030 from ARS Caging and love it! Their tub design is second to none. The 7030 is way bigger than you need for the mex group (I filled it with Pituophis) but they have another rack with tubs a size down that holds 33 animals. I intend to buy that one next year for my kings and corns. They're not the cheapest things in the world, but I firmly believe they are the best. Just my two cents. BTW - Great job on having the will power to stick at your goal of 50. It ain't easy, that's for sure. I sold off a bunch last year to slim down but am still hovering at the 80 animal mark. I think I'm okay and setting my limit at 100! (Gotta keep room open for more mex next year!) Anyway, take care!

Jeremy,

I agree. I have two ARS 7030 racks and love them. The second one was a partial rack. It has 4 levels of 3....12 slots. But I picked it up for cheap. I took the top two levels off my 10 level and now I have an 8 level and a 6 level. Much easier than reaching way up to the top of a 10 level. Now I just need to find a decent hatchling rack. That was my issue this season...hatchling space. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I have a couple of shelving units that I've built for my hatchlings. If I was going to buy a hatchling rack though, I like animal plastics for the smaller tubs and the abs construction. The ARS and Freedom Breeder tubs seem to large for most all of what I breed. I've seen lots of animal plastics enclosure in person and they are very well made. Hope that helps. Take care.
