Key Component for what???

jmartin104 Sep 17, 2003 12:32 PM

I have read on many occasions that the Albino is a key component to many other morphs. Aside from pattern mutations (Albino Spider, Albino Clown, etc.) and the snow, what else can it be used for?

Personally, I think pattern mutations look better without Albinism.

Albino striped, Mojave, Pastel, Spider, Patternless, Hypo-for a sunglow albino ball, Snow, etc. I think my fav albino is the spider, for some reason I just really like the way it looks. I agree, however, that some albino crosses may not look all that nice, but you never know until you try. I think the albino mojave will be stunning. Plus, with all the new morphs popping up almost weekly, the albino can be bred into the new morphs also. My het green ghosts have a nice labyrinth pattern, will prove it genetic or not next year, but a nice labyrinth sunglow would be nice!
