My 2009 Southern Pines

Nokturnel Tom Oct 08, 2009 04:56 PM

Anyone who has been following this forum could probably remember me carrying on about Anery/ Axanthic Pines...
I feel I am closer to getting a definitive answer now than ever before...more on that later. I wish I had time to get into it but I need to photograph some of last years keepers and another Axanthic from a different line,,,
So for now, enjoy these pics...which didn't come out as nice as I'd wished but they will have to do for now.
A beautiful but typical Patternless normal...

Here's another one

Axanthic Blotched

I hope to get to the other post I mentioned a time or two on here with all my thoughts on these Anery/ Axanthics this weekend. Hopefully none of the snakes I need to get pics of will be opaque.
Hope you like these...

Haha...no I won't hate you for that, I have a killer trio of normal het nothing blotched from Andy Belemy that I can't wait to get babies out of.

Killing me here. I looked at that nomal blotched and thought how similar to some Ruthevni I have seen Here you are picking that one out as your favorite.

Axanthic does seem to have an appealing look. I like it. Hmmm...
a southern I could actually work with in Florida.

Nokturnel Tom Oct 09, 2009 12:50 PM

Actually you wont be able to work with those in FL. I believe the reason the lines were "lost" goes back to the Bells.
In my search for the Axanthics... I asked Reptile Industries employees about this a few years in a row at Daytona. Always got the same reply. Florida authorities can not tell the difference between Axanthic and normal Pines. So the Bells made Snows and got rid of the Axanthics and continued working with the Albinos and Snows. I just dont have the time to continue with this for now, but hope to get a nice long post about all of this on here soon.

ps, I'd be interested to know what FL would have to say if you called and asked about this..
