Hwy 118,L. t. celaenops breeder female

Hold back from the Dam above.

Those are sweet, Chuckster. Especially that female. The male looks a little tempish to me.

Dave I agree, nice lookers there Chuck!
I just got home from a visit to Joecops place.
All of the L.t.t.'s that he has from Montgomery Co.
seem to have a Temporalis influence. I would be very
interested to see some groups from Anne Arundel, Howard,
and Prince George Counties. Ted Thompson has some L.t.t.(?)
from Baltimore Co. that are just insane. They are almost hypo
and very similar to Temporalis. Temporalis are known to be found in Charles, though few records exist, Calvert, St. Marys, and Cecil Counties, so I wouldn't doubt that their genes, I'll leave their origins up to debate in another post, would flow into the L.t.t. of surrounding counties. Mark Hardie showed me
a preserved L.t.t. that he had, it was given to him while taking it's last breath. It was from Frederick Co. and was hypo melanistic, i.e., pink, with a solid white belly, and a collar. Sad to say the least! There are some very interesting things going on with the Maryland Triangulum. I personally believe that there is some integration going on, aside from the ludicrous idea of the Elapsoides X Triangulum integration. The smoking male that Joe gave me, with the Coastal like neck collar, and red saddles, has the typical L.t.t. sides of broken bands, unlike a Temporalis. Hmmmmmm. If anybody has photos of Triangulum from the above locales, please do share.

That is the local of my youth and that is exactly how I remember them. I also remember them being common for years then one year, they were gone...

I think you're on to something there. Joecop and I have talked about that a few times before. Seems like where he is there are animals that show characteristics of both triangulum and temporalis. Possibly some integradation? Good luck raising yours up.
