My NRBCA pick up's

McCarthyBoas Oct 11, 2009 10:25 PM

Here are a few pictures of what I pick up at the NRBCA show this weekend.

My kids named her Buttercup.

Here is the male my kids already have and his name is Cheeto because his toes are red like Cheetos.

This is what I pick up for myself today it's a female Salmon possible het for jungle.

Take care

That looks like the one on Pk's table I was looking at.

I determined that its not a Possible Jungle but
in fact a definite Jungle "IMO"

Good pick up !

He is a 2008 DH sunglow.

Very nice pick ups Tom! That salmon looks like it'll prove out to be a jungle to me.

I recently rescued an adult beardie, she has the same red toes as your Cheetos does. I was told it was due to being kept on colored calci-sand? We've got her on corrugated and when one of the feet shed, the orange/red color went away. (I was kinda sad, it was a cool look!)

Thanks for posting all the NRBCA pics, it's nice to see for those of us that can't go.

Hi April,

Thanks for the info about the colored calci-sand however he did have red toes when we bought him and he was not kept on colored sand then. Now they where not as red as they are now but they where red / orange.

Take care
