The Eastern(Chain)kingsnake(L.g.getula) is the largest, with the Florida kingsnake(L.g.floridana)a very close second. Although some of the other's can get fairly large as well.
It really depends on the individuals genetics and conditions, but overall, the Eastern is the largest, and can on rare occasions top-out at around 7 ft max.. in length, but averages well below this.

hence why I wanted floridas to work with
after you get used to larger snakes they're sorta nice.

You beat me to it!
I know..LOL!, I was thinking about just typing "getula", and leave it at that, but I was pretty sure the poster meant ..."what subspecies of common kingsnake", and went about it that way..LOL!
Absolutely, no doubt there are some monster C. American triangulum that can get every bit as large, and even larger in some cases. Like that monster Louie Porras and Shannon Brown were holding many years ago in the Reptile magazine pic that was close to eight feet!...ZIKES!!!, what a freakin' behemoth that was!!!
