My "Class of 09" pics

AbsoluteApril Oct 12, 2009 09:15 PM

Love this idea for a thread!

Snapped all these pics a few minutes ago.

My 3 keepers from Zahara x Alpine litter this year, all just normal hets but I think they are pretty special

My pick of the litter, Sorbet, She wasn't being too friendly today

Strawberry didn't want to sit still so this was the only good pic of her, the angle makes her look huge! ha

This is Peanut:

Peanut checking out my South Park PJs:

SunCoral (Coral for short) is a het sharp poss het anery female from Ruben's Snowglow litter (thanks again R!):

Obsidian shed today and is a poss het sharp from Ruben's Sharp Motley litter:

My only other new '09 kid is a handsome anery poss het albino that I got from Darren but he's deep in blue.
Feel free to post your "Class of '09" pick-ups and keepers!
Thanks for looking at mine,
-April

Wow Larry, a lot to be proud of right there! Those pastel dream albinos are, well, dreamy! I bet that hypo leopard is gonna be something else in another year or two... and I *love* Infinitas & Infinity! Their little apostrophe shaped tail saddles could fit together.

>>April here is that fem Jungle you liked in the birth pictures

I think I got some pretty darn good taste! lol She really is a stunner and I hope you get some more updated pics to share soon.

Thanks for posting your eye candy!

Very nice holdbacks...love the tails on those kids

AbsoluteApril Oct 14, 2009 01:06 AM

>>Very nice holdbacks...love the tails on those kids

Thanks! The mom seems to throw babies with really nice white around the tail saddles which I am a big fan of. The dad has some laddertail in his family tree, I was hoping it would pop up, no luck but Strawberry and Peanut both have the exact same elongated tail saddle as dad, so maybe the genes for the laddertail are still lurking in there somewhere.

Those are some healthy and slightly familiar looking babies.

I like the 2nd one, strawberry the most. Good luck with your
2010 stuff.

AbsoluteApril Oct 14, 2009 01:12 AM

>>Those are some healthy and slightly familiar looking babies.

haha! I really think Sorbet is going to be the spitting image of her mom when she grows up. Here's hoping! I wish I could have seen what Zahara looked like as a baby.

>> Good luck with your 2010 stuff.

Thanks, you too! You know I am rooting for those wheily wheily wed kids! You better keep me posted.

Take care,

I can see why you kept those three. Selective breeding pays off.

AbsoluteApril Oct 14, 2009 01:14 AM

Thank you very much, that was a nice compliment and I really appreciate it. I do try to be selective and not just throw any ol' pair together, they all have a long term plan.
Have a great night,

Amazing looking Babies.

Gotta be the Best Hets I have seen so far.

I wanted a male from that litter because I think they would make AMAZING Pastel Albino's !!!!

I am just straight out of room.

I'm single now and it's already hard trying to bring a girl home, let alone to a ROOM FULL OF SNAKES !!!! YOOOoww......

I guess that's how I can account for my Dry Spell. LOL.

Thank you so much!

>>I am just straight out of room.

Ok, so here's what I can do, how about I trade you a male for one of your albino blood pythons, that way neither of us loses space and we both get what we want. Sounds fair, right?

LOL
Sorry, I couldn't even type that with a straight face!

-April

(p.s. hey, she doesn't have to like the snakes, just so long as she accepts them. Take it from me, it's no fun to be with someone who hates the hobby, sometimes a dry spell is better than living in hell)

Yup, exactly! And believe me, those rats were very much enjoyed by said boas.

> maybe in november sometime I'll post some of mine

I think that is a steller idea, but you're going to make us wait until November? I bet they will be worth the wait.

Have a great night,
