Okay so my mom came down from GA to visit me and we went to the pet store to get mealworms for my gecko and left with a corn snake. this is the first reptile ive ever gotten at a pet store and itll end up being the last. two days later it was dead and the under side near the vent had about a half inch area of dark green discoloration which is obviously the culprit. they wouldnt give me a refund so i had to settle for a new snake only after thoroughly examining it but im just curious if anybody knows what killed the first one. been trying to look it up and found some things that sound close but nothing that fully matches the description.
