I tried introducing my woma pair tonight and got some courtship. Then I got some woma loving.

Do yours flip their tails back and forth? I can hear it across the room on the paper

Actually yeah! My female wags her tail like a dog anytime she is excited but for the breeding and courtship it was different. I noticed the tail tips were pointed down and they were both scratching the cage with the point of their tails.

My female is a little nutso and she will wag her tail right before she launches onto you and attacks. Then she will let go and look at me and wag her tail again... it would be cute if she didn't bite so hard.

The male has never wagged nearly as much but for the courtship he did quite a bit. They really are neat snakes!!

I have two female black heads that are geared to go this year and my male agrees with my assement with at least one of them so far. Introduced my male from Split Rock and my female from Split Rock (sibs from Granger and Olivia) and they seemed to like each other just fine. Never saw actually copulation but they spent a lot of time cuddling and snuggling over the last 3 days... we will see what happens. I did see some tail dancing but they were both in a large hide box at the time and the tail of the male popped out for a minute doing the wag. This should be a killer pairing if they go!!!!

My male was locked up with his daughter last night after about a half hour.

I'm thinking of naming them John and Mackenzie, lol
