roadspawn Oct 13, 2009 07:07 PM

Hello
If anyone has pics of their indoor cuban rock enclosures, please post them. Thanks

PS. This was my tree monitor enclosure a few years ago.

Does your cuban use all that vertical space? Mine would unhappily roam around the bottom of that cage.

That enclosure was for a pair of tree monitors, not a cuban.

My mistake, I thought you meant you were planning on using it for cubans now or something. Here's my indoor setup. Not really an enclosure, but it where his food and lamps are. The box he's on top of is also a hide with a sliding door that makes it a convenient way to transport him to his outdoor enclosure when the weather's nice.

Besides what you see in the pic, is there anything else in his bedroom? What type of interaction do you have with him? How old is he? Thanks

Robert

Well, his "bedroom" is actually the front room of our house; you can see the front room curtains in the corner of the pic I think. He has bowl of ZooMed pellets and water perpetually available; he eats them dry. As I write this he has wandered into the kitchen where my wife and 3 year old are hanging out. I don't know that I would recommend this type of situation prescriptively though. It has a lot to do with the particular animal of course. And he is pretty social. My interactions are mostly putting him on the toilet twice a day where he dutifully takes a doody. I also scratch him and stuff, and once in a while he climbs into laps to get scratches. He is 4 this October (hatch date). He is over three feet and around 10lbs now I would guess. Do you already have one or are you thinking of it?

Hey Bay
I just got a cuban x cayman. He/she hatched in 08 from David Blair's stock.
