>>I have leveled the playing field:

I don't know what you mean by that? (guess I'm outta the loop heh)

Anyways, that is a cool boa that needs more pics taken. Looks like it could be a few different things, but I'm going to guess it's a super jungle Dh sunglow/moonglow?

Very pale and pretty, nice!

Ahhh I never would have figured that out.
Thank you!

Mystico was my second guess, whooo! (then third was some type of hog cross due to the super light base coloration but I didn't think Jeff worked with the locality crosses).

Yup. It's a new camera finally! The old one served me well and after many years using Olympus, I have made the jump to Nikon. I have the D90 and I am using a Nikon Nikkor 60mm f-2.8D AF Macro Lens. The image below is only 90kb too!

Part of that is due to the Photoshop software that keeps the file size to a minimum, but holy makeral! This was like the 3rd or 4th picture I took with the thing! Plus I still haven't read the directions, so I don't even know how to use it yet!

Ask me if I am having fun yet?!

Open your arms and welcome another SLR swinging wanna be photographer!

with a true macro lens, eh Jeff? It opens a whole new world of 'photographic clarity'!

Have you tried the HD camera out on it yet? I'm curious how that will work with the 60mm fixed macro lens. I would imagine you could get some stunning video but the lens being fixed at 60mm could be excessively limiting.

Did you get a general range zoom lens with the body?
