The past two weekends have been loaded with good times and tons of herps! Here is just a tiny bit of what we saw...

These were in and around Francis Marion NF, SC. It was sunny and dry for most of the trip and the mosquitoes were out in full force...

Oh man, thats one of the best posts I've seen in quite a while. I love salamanders! I looked a few times this year at a couple spots I've found northern long toed salamanders in past years with no luck this year, I didnt even find a tiger sally this year, I'm hopeing for better luck next spring. Anyway, great pics! Great post! & thanks for sharing.

I think your spider is Nephila claviceps (Golden orb-weaving spider. Killer photos, looks like a good ole' time.

That looks like fun, we have 2 gummy lizards in our area, both too far away to target and one is north, the other south. Little further up there are lots but it is too far away for me. Great pics!
