Hey,
I'm new here and I just wanted to share my Tegu with you.
Gavin.

Sweet looking little Tegu you've got there. He certainly looks well fed.
If you want good Tegu information, this is the place to get it. Stick around and let us get a chance to know you and Nero.
I've been roaming the internet for a couple of days now, and this is the first site with alot of good advice and information. Like I said, this is my first Tegu. I fell in love with him the first moment I saw him. He's a little aggresive at the moment, but I hope that will go away as he gets older and when he's handled more.
I must admit that he is a little to fat at the moment.

Nice picture! That breeder did a good job he looks really healthy. I like the pattern on him too. Give us some background on him if you want.
I imported him from agamainternational, he's 7 months old. I got him about four weeks ago. In the beginning he was very aggresive and didn't like people walking past his cage.
Now he has settled down abit. I can put my hand in the cage without him leaping at my hand to bite. In the beginning the didn't come out of his hiddingplace. Now he has started to show himself more so now I'm getting the chance to tame him.
Gavin
I've got one from agamainternational too! I thought yours looked familiar. Mine was the same way when I got him he was very afraid of me. I spent a month laying still on my couch in front of the cage so I wouldn't startle him. He's very tame now it just took a little work.
.
You did a good job. Very nice, healthy looking tegu. This forum is a wonderful place for first hand knowledge. You'll love it.
Take care,
Karen
Nero looks happy & well-fed. Love his pattern!
