T Sunglows? Anybody produced these?

PnPreptiles Oct 16, 2009 08:04 AM

I am VERY new to the boas and was just wanting to know what these look like? I have had Colubrids for about 20 years and just last year bought a collection that had a nice Salmon male and just a normal female and I bred them and got 21 babies, 11 Salmons for my first and only litter of Boas ever! Im hooked and wanting more! If anybody has pics of some of these or if it has been done, I would REALLY like to see some?

Thats cool actually a plain T is often associated as T pos ,
BTW i had recently traded a couple corns for a (nice)male boa and last week a Sheriff friend gave me a Rescue Female that appeared bulky so i thought maybe ovulation so Wed. i put them together and this morning i found them "Locked -up" right when a storm edge of this cold front is coming into Fl.
I too am a colubrid guy and was wondering how chilly boas take the winter especially if potentially gravid.I do have some UTHs

A rescue fem and you didn't quarantine them ?
You just stuck them together to breed ?

Its a better idea to research what a Boas needs are
how to take care of them heat humidity and cage size requirements
before you get them and try to breed them.

Boas need temp gradient about 84* cool end and about 88*-94* warm end

Good luck

OMG, please don't be deffensive when someone is just trying to help.

Boas don't 'winter', they do wonderful at the same temps year yound and do not need, require, or in my 10 yrs experience, benefit from any type of cool down period. I am speaking of BCi, common colombian and central american boas, not the true red tail BCc.

So, yeah, good luck
