A few people do and I still think nothing beats a screaming Juno. I guess because they aren't speckled a lot of people overlook them. LOL

I have two pairs of alterna - all blairs phase - one pair of which bred successfully for me last year(9 neonates). These two were road collected within a quarter mile of each other on the same night in 2004 (parenthetically we captured yet a third alterna - a female - that same night on on Juno). The other two were found at Baker's Crossing and 4 miles north of Baker's just before the road collecting ban was placed in effect, again on the same night in 2007. The female I did not breed this year (from 4 miles north of Baker's) threw seven slugs this year. I never placed her with a male, so I will get her going with the Baker's male in the spring of 2010. If you would like I can post pics so you can see them. Although they are all blairs, there is some interesting variation.
