blizzard boas..

bergmantis Oct 16, 2009 03:54 PM

I recently picked up a pair of dh blizzards (het Anery II, het albino) and was wondering about some of the history related to producing these. All I have been able to find is that nobody has any blizzards and the one that lived passed away as a neonate.

Why does the Anery II gene not express well with albinos or what ever the case is? Does it have to do with the fact that a CA morph is being expresed in a colombian boa?

I would doubt that it has something to do with a CA morph being expressed in a Colombian simply because people have crossed Leopards for instance with Colombians which hasn't effected them in a negative manner if anything it has helped strengthen them and actually make them larger...speaking of which I have to see if some of my neonate leopard stuff has eaten their mice...picky little suckers!

How is yours doing bro?

I left some little fuzzy rats on the tub with them and nothing...thumped the mouse and tried assisting it wouldnt have it...never had to do that before so its a new experience and didnt want to injure the cute little suckers!

What did you guys think I was pulling your leg. Hope you have more patience then me. So now you have a male Lar. Thats cool. Remember that runt hypo leo. He just took a nice size rat pink on his 3 month birthday. First meal. I had 5 out of 6 eat in the last few days. They do seem to like mouse fuzzies more. Paul Mitzenfelt said he had this same problem with his Leos. Others have told me you just have to wait them out. Good luck.

I was more so hoping that since your little guy decided to eat that it would be a chain reaction and these guys would suddenly hit survival mode and then decide that a mouse or rat cant be too bad.

Yep Paul looks like it. I just can't believe how long it took for this baby to develop the feel of a male. Because believe me I've
been checking him every few weeks nothing until this past week.
So it looks like the little girl is a little boy , LOL
