Here's a link that has tons of the many different snakes in that area.

Ok thank you. Great link.
Do you know exactly where to go in Dallas.
We have lived at the Dallas World Aquarium for a few days and we fly back to Denmark tomorrow afternoon. So we have a few hours to find some snakes, so any ideas where to go exactly.

Thanks

Jonas

I have no clue whatsoever..LOL!,..I've only visited some family there a few times. I live in central Florida.

Stay determined and you'll find some one way or another. It's getting cooler which is a good thing, in major heat it's much tougher to find snakes. Look for board debri, tin, trash piles, etc..around wooded areas, these are favorite spots for snakes to thermoregulate on cool days. After rains are a good time too.

I live in the area.
Mostly in my area just south of DFW I find Rough greens, Texas rats, Emory Rats, Eastern Yellowbelly racers, Broadbandxsouthern Copperheads, assorted garter & ribbons, many assorted small brown jobs ( Earthsnakes/Tantillas/ ground). Texas bronsnakes also.. Western Coachwhips also live around here.
