I dont know if i mentioned anything here or not but today Des and i ran our first half marathon together, this came one year later at the same event we ran our first 5K together.

the race was great we took a nice easy pace i had a good amout of knee problems that slowed us down but we got through and ran in together for a finish of 2:40, just under 12 minute miles nice easy slow pace.

we made up little award packets for each other for finishing among some small random stuff i put in hers a diamond ring, and proposed.... she said YES and i am now officially engaged!!!

all in all this was a fantastic day, having run a half marathon plus getting engaged to the love of my life, just wanted to share with everyone

Thanks for all your thoughts and well wishes they mean a lot to us!
I myself am super excited about the whole thing

Ed we are not so sure about a date just yet, i dont even think we are gonna talk about it untill we figure out a few other things first. she is still in school and we are trying to get that done with, i am considering going back to school myself(no idea what for but thinking it might be a good thing). once she graduates we have to decide weather to stay here in ABQ or pick up and move back up to MASS... so there are a lot of unknowns still up in the air, but now one thing is certin.... whateve we do we are gonna do it together!!
