Great looking rattlers. How do you like using bark for substrate?

Works well for keeping humidity up, but the rattlers dont require high humidity. I just use it as a universal substrate for my whole collection, its cheap, easy to maintain, the pieces are generally too large for them to swallow during feeding, and when they soil it I can just remove the bark that is dirty.

In my whole life I have never scene an atrox male with a 2 banded tail or one that short, To be honest I would put money that snake is female.
