bloated help

cobra93 Oct 19, 2009 02:21 PM

I have a baby that has been a bit hard to take off feeding and now it has devloped a bloated look at the back half of its body. It looks like its a fluid build up but I don't know for sure. Does anyone know what this might be thanks for the help. It has passed urea but I'm not sure if it passed the harder waste. Its about a month old.

You may want to try and soak the snake in warm water for 30 minutes or so, sometimes that will trigger defication. Good luck

they can retain fluid and bloat, you can just gently push open the vent as if you were sexing the snake and with your other hand gentle push the air and fluid bloated belly section down to the vent and they will get out the air and fluid.
