Sav Escapee (7 months/ 18&quot

So, checked all the usual heat suspects...fridge, aquarium pumps, dryer. All but ripped apart the 8 FULL to the brim closets (I knew we should have had that rummage sale this summer!). Made sure all my gecko/skink/toad tanks are secure. What else? Wait, like I usually do for the occasional gecko escapee? Worried it may get shocked if it starts to dig in somewhere near a power source. Tried my 'feeding call'. God, I hope my husband didn't leave the door open when he got home last night. Escaped sometime between yesterday 4pm and 1pm today. Any other tips for finding the little bugger? Leave a pan of water out, bowl of roaches, or hopper mouse?

I havent had an escapee in a long time (monitor wise at least) but what i had done in the past was left a blown up bag of crickets (like a petco bag full of air and crickets) in the middle of the floor...n sure enough i would find him dragging the bag around trying to get it in his enclosure....it had worked a few times on him...could work for you.

Our full growm Savanna, after he finishes his bath, can flatten himself and squeeze under the closed bathroom door...which is about an inch and a half clearance at best. I was stunned the first time he did it and saw him sauntering across the living room floor when I thought he was secure in the bathroom. They love to hide and you should check under ALL furniture even if you are CERTAIN it's too tight a fit. I am adding a picture of Mo so you can see how much lizard can squeeze through a one inch crack. GOD BLESS...
