Super Jungles Reproducing

SpectreBCIs Oct 20, 2009 05:50 PM

I was talking to a breeder the other day and they mentioned that their male super jungle sired a litter of live healthy young. I was wondering if other people have had litters from super jungles as well? Can we finally put to rest the rumor that they are infertile? Appreciate any info.

Who told you that? Where are the pictures of an entire litter of Jungles?

Even if it has not happened, I do think it will happen with some out breeding which sadly is far too rare for most breeders. In the mean time, it sounds like you are alot closer to information with the answer that you are looking for. We would all like to know it too.

There is a breeder here in CA that said she did it. She said it was a small litter of 6 with one slug, all jungle looking, but doesn't have pics. I have an 06 albino super jungle male that I keep hoping might do something. The 2 females I have waiting for him are not jungles, so I too am trying to outbreed a little.

all my super females ended up in the freezer after 1 season of attempting (did not take it well). the male albino super i had also ended up in the freezer, he survived 2 season of trys. they became very weak very quickly and even the vet couldnt snap them out of the downward spiral. its seems as if they're programed to die on you...hope ronne is right. 20k in the freezer..yuk!!!
