When is the best time to start cooling?

ARIES54 Oct 21, 2009 08:15 AM

Hey guys. I'm still learning everything with beardeds. I had some this year that did breed for me. My question is when should I start cooling them? How long do I need to cool them? And what's the best method of cooling them? I've been told a few different ways to do it. One guy even said he puts his in shoe boxes inside of a closet for two months! Any help you can give me would be great. thanks.

I'm new to dragons, but you do know shoeboxes aren't actual shoeboxes. They are small sterilite type containers

Yea, I got that. I'm just trying to figure out when I'm suppose to start this. And for how long?
